Get to know Ethan Smith

Ethan Smith is an active member of FireSpring Fund, a nonprofit organization that works to support innovative community development programs in the United States. Born and raised in Connecticut, Ethan has always been passionate about social justice and making a difference in people’s lives. After graduating from college, he began his career as a volunteer coordinator at FireSpring, where he quickly rose up the ranks to become their managing director.

As the managing director for FireSpring Fund, Ethan is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization as well as developing new strategies and initiatives to support their mission. He works closely with community leaders to identify areas of need within their local communities and develop creative ways to address those needs. In addition, Ethan also leads fundraising efforts to ensure the sustainability of FireSpring’s work.

Ethan’s passion for social justice has led him to pursue additional projects outside of his role at FireSpring Fund. He serves on several nonprofit boards and advises start-ups looking to use technology for positive social change. He is also active in mentoring young people who are interested in pursuing careers related to philanthropy or public service.
